The kit I´ve used was part of the August Digi files, and the designer is Britt-ish Designs.

I had a sleepless night last night and after doing some organizing of my digi supplies I decided to do a LO. I think it was over at the Roundtable this week I heard about someone starting out with the photo, and then embellishments and picking the background papers last. I decided to try this as my brain already had a very difficult time thinking linear thoughts. The photos were taken a few weeks ago in the kitchen during my cousins baby Annas first visit at the farm.

I´m almost finished with a course at lynda.com called Photoshop for designers: Type Effects.I´ve learned SO much from this course, and would totally recommend it! I´ve used some of the techniques from the class on my journaling and title to make them look more like they are actually written on the paper and not just stuck on top

This is almost a clean and simple card. I wanted to play with my corner stamps from kaBoks and a scrap piece of paper. I stamped my corner image along a strip of paper rotating it 180º between each stamping. I then cut my strip into 3 banners and decorated them with some lovely lace and gorgeous resin flowers from Prima.

The sentiment stamps reads like this: “Never forget how much joy you share, how much support you give, how many smiles you bring forth and how many hearts you keep warm by being just who you are!”

TIP!     To get the perfect colored bling I went to my trusty Copic Sketch markers. Using my color chart I found the marker that matched my card perfectly. After that all I had to do was to color my crystal bling, cut it apart and stick them on!  You can use any alcohol markers and alcohol inks used like this

The stamp is from Kraftin Kimmi, and the papers are the old Lemonade Collection from Basic Grey. I´ve used Copic Sketch markers to color the stamp.

Tip! If your paper is to busy to stamp on, but you don´t want to add a “tag” with your sentiment on, try using StazOn ink on washi tape! As it is translucent your pattern shines through, but the sentiment is still readable.

Tip! Don´t be afraid to cut up your clear stamps! I cut my stamp in two so that I was able to use it inside the Spellbinder die.

I used a ton of different kits on this on, including borders from my “One Sunny Day” kit. All of the other elements are from the June digi files. I´ve used papers by Carlize Creations, Tracy Reed and  Sue Cummings. I spend a lot of time at my parents farm (free food and a big “garden” for Rolf, and family ). As I am addicted to scrapbooking I either need to bring supplies, keep supplies at the farm or keep my visits short. I really like to design digital kits, but I haven´t done that much digi scrapbooking. So, I´ve decided to do digi at the farm so that I don´t need to bring stuff back and forth! I´ve signed up to the Digi Game over at the Daily Digi, so now I get loads of new supplies every month. I also need to bring all my other digi supplies to my dads Mac. (I can´t be bothered bringing my MacBook when my dad has a better iMac.)

My first attempt at a “fantasy” LO. I really want to learn how to do that, but I think extracting Rolfs fur will give me an ulcer. I did a crude extraction job at this one, I just had to get it out of my system and the lovely papers by Carlize Creations over at Oscraps just screamed at me.
